2017 is coming to a close and the hopes of a new and better year seem to be on every ones minds. The “New Year new me” phrase is floating around and everyone seems so egger to change who they are. People take this time to reflect on the year behind them and yet all they can seem to think of is the bad things that affected them this year, instead of focusing on all of the good things that have happened. While you are reading this I want you to look back on 2017 and push all the bad and the negativity out, focus on the positive and all of the goodness that has come your way. You will see that once you do this, you will realize how much better of a person that you have become.
You see, with a new year comes a new beginning… in a sense. It isn’t really a new beginning because you aren’t starting with a complete clean slate. I like to view the new year as a new chance to grow and prosper. A time to continue making goals and crushing them, a chance to continue what I have already been doing but making my project as well as myself better in the process. When I say making goals and crushing them, I don’t mean the usual “I wanna lose weight” or “I wanna find a new job”. These goals are often set but very rarely met due to the need to see progress instantly. When I, or you, set goals for this coming year, make sure they are realistic to you and your lifestyle. Don’t try to go above and beyond in a way that you think you need to prove yourself to the world. Be patient… there are 12 months awaiting you, to rush will only help you to fail. Make true goals, goals that will help you get further ahead in your life, but start simple. Keep the positivity alive always and never give up. These things are not impossible to accomplish, they just take patience and once you acquire this patience you will truly be unstoppable.
2017 has been an incredible year for myself, I’ve started The Clarity Of Mind, I’ve gotten the change to explore even more of this lovely Earth, I’ve made friends and lost friends, I’ve found my purpose in this life and above all I’ve remained happy throughout the entire year. I can see that I have grown so much as a person in just this one year alone, and it makes me so excited to see what the coming year/years have in store for me. I have set my New Year goals, I have started small and intend to work my way up from there. I am going into the New Year happy, positive and above all else, hungry for the success that will soon come my way.
I want to wish all of you a very Happy New Year, may you prosper and grow into the best version of yourself, and may you continue to have happiness and health and to build more memories of your time here on Earth. May you enjoy every single day as if it were your last and live your life to the fullest.
