Don’t Let Money Control Your Life

No matter where I am in the world, it seems like everyone has the same problems and constant concerns when it comes to money. Now, I get that money is the thing that makes this world go round and without it it’s rather hard to survive but, letting money control everything about your life, from your family to your friends, to your vacationing and the things you buy, is only going to make your life more difficult. By letting money be the priority in your life, the enjoyment of live itself begins to disappear.

I read a quote from a book the other day, and it has stuck in my mind ever since; “Don’t work for money, let money work for you!” If you take a second and really think about what this quote is saying, it is so unbelievably valuable. By being a slave of the world and working 40+ hours a week just to make the paycheck to pay the bills that you have, you’re missing out on life. By letting money work for you, you allow yourself the freedom to enjoy every day on this Earth as you would like and in return, you bring something new and refreshing to light.

I’m not saying to quit your job and start your company, because the odds of building a successful company are slim, but instead I’m trying to shine light on the fact that money is just paper, something that we trade in return for other goods or services. It is not something that was meant to limit us or control us in any way shape or form. It hurts me to see the amount of stress and anxiety that this has on people, and also, it has shown me how it can change and alter peoples personalities. No money will ever be enough if you continue to work for money, because even though your bank account may look nice, your life, family and friends will suffer.

Allow yourself to break away from the matrix of the world, allow yourself to be free from the stress that money brings and instead enjoy your life how you want to. We only have a limited amount of time in this beautiful world and there is no time to waste being stressed and unhappy over something so little. Being the richest man in the world is not all it is cracked up to be, more money ultimately means more problems and more time doing something that you don’t like. Let money work for you, find ways to make this a reality for yourself and your life style, you will see that once you shift your outlook on this, your life will become more joyous and happy and you will have more free time to do the things that you really want to do while you still have the time to do it!
